Hello and Welcome!
In late July I'll be driving across North America to help raise money and awareness for Engineers Without Borders Australia.
Firstly, I'm absolutely not an engineer. Far from it (as my engineering friends can attest). But I thoroughly believe in what EWB does around the world, and I'm particularly proud of what they do in our part of the world. EWB send engineers and engineering students to remote parts of Australia and developing nations in our region to help build vital infrastructure. They use locally-sourced materials wherever possible, and train the residents so that the communities are self-sustainable. A lot of the time this infrastructure allows other charity organisations to come and perform their tasks.

I'm one of two teams driving across the globe in July for EWB. The Sydney team will be travelling from London to Mongolia. Between us, we'll be travelling over 25,000 kilometres. These guys are doing their trip in a Vauxhall Corsa, which you might know as a Holden Barina, and a Suzuki Alto. Buy some popcorn and keep up with their progress by clicking here.
Both trips are proudly supported by Graphic Effects, who are by far the best business and vehicle signage company in Australia. I should know, I've been using them since 2007. We'd really appreciate it if you took the time to click this link and check out the excellent projects they're involved in.
If you want to help, please click this link and donate. (Full disclosure: none of this money goes to me.) If you're interested in becoming a corporate sponsor for the trip, please email me at bbjjzz@gmail.com.
Cheers,
Ben Zachariah
